| Description: |
Spanish
mackerel are shaped like torpedoes and they are almost
that quick. Macks are found thrashing through schools
of bait and having their way with them. Spanish mackerel
come and go with the bait, but are a consistent catch
all year. Most of the macks will be between 12" and
30." Color of back green, shading to silver on sides,
golden yellow irregular spots above and below lateral
line; front of dorsal fin black; lateral line curves gently
to base of tail. |
